Statement recycled textile necklace BEN in Terracotta

Presenting: the lightweight, sustainable, statement textile necklace BEN. Crocheted with Oekotex certified sustainable recycled cotton cord, finished with a brass magnet clasp

These necklaces are the perfect gift for that girlfriend who is vegan and cares about sustainability! Why? They are made from OEKOTEX-certified recycled cotton rope. That means they contain neither harmful chemicals for you nor in the production process.

Despite the visual punch they pack, they are extremely light. The stitch used also looks different on the "back side", which looks like 2 rows of braids. So you could say that's two looks for the price of one.

I don't know about you, but lobster claw closures are about the most despicable things on earth to my clumsy fingers. So when I made these textile necklaces, I knew they would have to come with easy-on-easy-off magnetic clasps. These BEN necklaces feature brass magnetic clasps. You know what else is great about these clasps? If you are a mother to little ones, you know how those little fingers can still manage a firm tug. So if you know a new mom who is stuck in t-shirt nursing tops and might appreciate a blast of happy colour... this is the gift she needs.

The necklace is crocheted, so there is a certain "give" in the stitch. If the stitches look too tight to you, you can stretch the crocheted segment and the necklace would lengthen slightly and become less thick.

The BEN necklace is about 60cm long. The crocheted segment begins around the collar bone and measures about 35cm.

You have just stumbled upon a unique, absolutely one-of-a-kind necklace from Zoe Tan Studio. All the necklaces are handcrafted by me, and so in the case of a restocked design, there might be very slight differences between the product photos and the pair in your hands. For example, the necklace might be about 1cm more or less than described.

Here in my studio, there is no neutral or classic: it is always statement jewellery. You might not think you suit this style, but you are wrong. Especially if you tend to wear basic outfits, a pair of these loud and colourful earrings will jazz up your outfit and change the vibe instantly. SUSTAINABLE —

My necklaces are made from eco-friendly materials that were either upcycled or recycled. This is handcrafted statement jewellery without the ecological footprint. To prevent waste from an inventory, each necklace is handcrafted only upon receiving your order.

CARING FOR YOUR NECKLACES —  

Even if these are textile necklaces, I do not recommend washing your necklaces. Spot clean if you should have gotten a stain onto the necklace. Brass and copper parts may tarnish over time, but can be easily cleaned with a soft jewelry cloth and/or tarnish remover.

SHIPPING —

This necklace will be packed without plastic in a cardboard box. I use Deutsche Post in Germany, and DHL with climate-neutral shipping for all other international orders. 

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES — 

Please contact me via email at hi(at)zoetanstudio.com within 24 hours of placing your order for a refund or exchange. Once shipped, I cannot refund or exchange. If the package should get lost — this has only happened once in 4 years —  just get in touch with me. Depending on the design and my inventory, I will either send you a replacement pair or refund you. Under European law, you have 14 days to return a product. But you must bear the return shipping costs yourself.
