This one-of-a-kind purse was entirely crocheted by hand using recycled textile tape yarn in the fun and contrasting shades of lilac, cream, pink, cyan, red, peach, and blue.
The straps are made using 10mm thick natural rope, and held together with a wrapping of pastel blue waxed cotton cord.
Lain flat, at its widest it measures 28cm, 18cm at its narrowest, and 22cm from bottom to top. The purse is crocheted with a square base, and this base measures 15cm by 15cm. If completely filled, the purse would have a depth of 15cm, a width of 15-20cm, and a height of 18cm (amenable to stretch, as crocheted fabrics are).
The straps measure 32cm from purse to top, and when carried, you can expect the bag to be about 50 to 55cm (depending on how full the bag is), from the bottom of the purse to the top of the shoulder. In the photos where the bag is carried, the bag contained a phone, a wallet, and 3 notebooks.
As you can see on the photos, there are "holes" in the pattern of the crocheted fabric, and these are large enough to accommodate a finger. Since this purse comes without a lining, I would recommend keeping smaller valuables (such as lip balm, pens, earrings) in a pouch when using this purse.
While crochet purses have a summer feel about them, I think this bag would be perfect pop of colour therapy in the colder days as we all start to wear dark-coloured coats and boots. You won't even have to worry about matching the colour of your bag to your shoes, since this bag is just screaming: I am a personality of my own! There is only one of this, so don't hesitate.
